VOL 1 : J 2.

BDO MENS & WOMENS INVITATION TABLES SYSTEM & STRUCTURE

1. To qualify for the BDO Invitation Tables System players must be Members of the British Darts
Organisation, or of a Member Darts Body of the World Darts Federation.

2. The BDO Invitation Tables System is used as a Basis for qualification, invitation, and/or seeding in BDO
promoted International events, such as the World Professional Championships and World Masters.

The tables will also be used for invitations into other events when deemed necessary.

3. WDF World/Europe/Asia-Pacific/Americas Cup Individual points are only allocated within the Invitation
Table System during the period in which the respective event occurs.

All points obtained in any other event shall be held for a period of twelve months unless that event is
staged again during that period.

4. When a player has obtained points in more than eight events, only the best eight sets of points are
included in the player’s total.

5. Points are only awarded to players winning at least one match in any respective event, unless specified
otherwise.

6. Points are only gained within the Invitation Tables System, if the BDO/WDF Playing Rules are adhered to,
which includes the use of equipment, etc..

This note also applies to those events played outside Britain.

7. Any player under ‘suspension’ as a result of Disciplinary Action imposed by his/her parent National Darts
Body shall forfeit the right to be awarded any Invitation Tables Points, or to receive any other award due
from obtaining a placing in the BDO Invitation Tables System.

8. Any player that fails to comply with the BDO and WDF Eligibility Rules shall not be included in the
BDO Invitation Tables System.

9. Any event that fails to comply with the BDO and WDF Eligibility Rules shall not be included in the
BDO Invitation Tables System.

10. Events may not be considered for inclusion within this Invitation Tables System if they are played on
dates which coincide with BDO scheduled events.

11. The Invitation Tables will be issued at the cut-off point at the end of the time period defined in the additional
notes on Page J 4.

12. The following statement must be included on all entry forms for the events recognised in these Tables;

“This is a BDO Invitation Tables event and is open to all players who are eligible to play in the
Winmau World Masters and Lakeside World Professional Championships.”

13. The Board of Directors reserve the right to add to, delete from, and amend the BDO Invitation Tables
System as deemed necessary.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

The BDO INVITATION TABLE SYSTEMS are not ‘rolling systems’ - points are added into each table
and deleted at the end of the table period.

The ‘period’ during which a table is compiled for each major event is defined as follows;

WINMAU WORLD MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS

From the day after the WDF Europe Cup / World Cup in one year until and including the WDF World Cup / Europe Cup
in the ensuing year.

Particular circumstances may deem otherwise which will be verified by the Board of Directors when appropriate.

LAKESIDE WORLD PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

From the day after the WDF Europe Cup / World Cup in one year until and including the WDF World Cup / Europe Cup
in the ensuing year.

Particular circumstances may deem otherwise which will be verified by the Board of Directors when appropriate.

SEEDING

The seeding of the top players in the World Masters Championships shall be determined after the New Zealand Open, or after the WDF World Cup / Europe Cup, whichever is the latest date in the respective Playing Season, and will recognise a player’s points total at that time.

The seeding of the top players in the World Professional Championships shall be determined after the New Zealand Open, or after the WDF World Cup / Europe Cup, whichever is the latest date in the respective Playing Season, and will recognise a player’s points total at that time.

REMINDER – BDO RANKING TABLES NO LONGER EXIST PLEASE USE THE TERM ‘INVITATION TABLES’

The only players that will be listed in the tables are those that have made a written commitment to support the BDO system and are also eligible to play in the tournament for which the respective table has been created.
