MARTIN ADAMS and TRINA GULLIVER, the reigning Lakeside World Professional Darts Champions and England captains, are just two of the many world-class darts players who will be competing in the prestigious BDO British Open at Leisure World, Bridlington.

Current World Darts Federation Number 1 ranked player, Mark Webster aged 23 has signed a 3 year sponsorship deal with Winmau.

It has been yet another successful year for BDO darts from grass roots right through to national, international, world and professional levels, and the new season promises to be even better!

The IDPA are pleased to announce that two more referees have joined the IDPA Master Callers Panel.
William Campbell from Gloucester joins the Panel and has been graded at Grade 3 in recognition of his County experience
In addition Nic Rolls of Berkshire has received an initial grading of Grade 2 after officiating at the recent British Classic. Nic is also scheduled to make his Television debut officiating at this years Winmau World Masters and the 2008 Lakeside World Championships.

MARTIN ADAMS, the reigning BDO World Professional Darts Champion and longest serving England Captain, has turned down an invitation to compete in the PDC’s Grand Slam of Darts – despite several phone pleas from Barry Hearn..

The news of the death of Eddie Buchan on Tuesday 7th August 2007. takes away from darts  the sort of person and player that is not only the backbone of their chosen sport but someone who by just being a part of the game enhances everything that is good about our sport.
