We are pleased to announce the appointment of David Dempsey to the Master Callers Panel.
David who is currently officiating at Essex and has had television experience at last years World Darts Event in Holland has been awarded Grade 3 status.
David’s appointment gives Essex three graded referees Ashlea Moore (3) and Barry Gilbey (1).

Listed below the basic rules for the initial year of the IDPA/BDO Referees Panel.

GRADES:

Grade 1.         Grand Slam Tournament status and televised Tournaments.
Grade 2.         BDO sanctioned ranked Tournaments status. and International Tournaments.
Grade 3.         BICC Matches, County events.
Grade 4.         Novice status.

a) All accepted applicants will be initially graded at Grade 4.
b) Those accepted with proven experience will be graded at the appropriate Grade.
c) All Grades to be reviewed annually in the month of January.
d) All applicants or recommended referees will be subject to assessment prior to acceptance.
e) All decisions in relation to the grading of accepted members of the Referees Panel will be the responsibility of the Board of Directors of the IDPA.
f) All members of the Referees Panel will be subject to the rules, codes and conditions of membership of the International Dart Players Association including the Disciplinary Code on Conduct.
