England ladies win WDF european cup again
Written by Trina Gulliver - Six Times Women's World Champion. Thuesday, 28 September 2006

Hello All,

England Ladies Darts Team of Trina Gulliver and Clare Bywaters have successfully defended their WDF European Cup Title. The event was held in Republic of Ireland from the 20th September to the 23rd September 2006.

Trina and Clare, who play their county darts for Warwickshire but live in Wantage Oxfordshire, beat Ann Kirk and Louise Hepburn of Scotland, 4-3 to take the pairs title and a Gold medal each.

In the singles final, Trina beat her England pairs partner, Clare, 4-2 to take the another Gold medal while Clare picked up Silver. The accumulation of points meant that England Ladies had also taken the overall title, picking up a further Gold medal each and taking the maximum amount of medals home once again, successfully defending their 2004 WDF European Cup win.

Last September they represented England in the WDF World Cup in Perth Australia where once again they took all honours the same, only that Clare was the winner in the singles event.

Any further information for the event can be found on www.dartswdf.com.

Many Thanks

Kind Regards

Trina Gulliver.
