2011 IDPA ACADEMY 64 & 32 RULES

1.00    ELIGIBILITY

1:01    Current full Membership of the IDPA Academy
1:02    Membership of a darts body recognised by the IDPA, World Darts Federation and British Darts Organisation.
1:03    Eligible for the Lakeside World Professional Darts Championships.

2.00    MEMBERSHIP FEES

2:01    Mens     £40.00 per annum
2.02    Ladies   £20.00 per annum

3.00    GENERAL RULES

3:01    Unlimited registered Mens players.
3:02    Unlimited registered Ladies players.
3:03    An Annual season will commence with the Lakeside World Championships and end on the 31st December.
3:06    A strict dress code applies in all IDPA promoted Tournaments.
3:07    All  Academy members are subject to the Codes and Conditions of the IDPA

4.00    RANKING SYSTEM

4:01    Academy Ranking System will be an annual rolling table with all points to be counted.
4:02    Seedings for IDPA promoted Academy Tournaments will be based on players ranking position at the end of the previous ranked Tournament played.
4:03    The bottom 8/4 players in the Foundation rankings each season will be replaced by the top 8/4 in the Academy rankings of that season.  In the event of tied places for these positions a play off between the players concerned will decide the final position.

5.00    INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENTS

5.01    Invites for Tournaments will be based on the Academy Rankings Table.
5.02    Any player who fails to take part in a Invitational Tournament, after accepting the invitation to take part, without adequate reason, will be deducted 10 Academy Ranking Points and be ineligible for invitation to the next IDPA Promoted Invitational Tournament.

6.00    MEMBERS FINANCE ACCOUNTS

6:01    The IDPA will supply a full detailed Financial Account to all Academy Members on request.

7.00  DISCIPLINE

7:01    Any Disciplinary matter relating to an Academy member will be dealt with by the IDPA Disciplinary Committee.
7:02    Any Disciplinary action taken with will be under the WDF/BDO Code of Discipline.
7.03    Any suspension of a IDPA member under the WDF/BDO Discviplinary Code will be upheld by the IDPA during the said term of any suspension.

8.00    EXCLUSION

8:01    The IDPA reserves the right to exclude any playing member from members only events should said member be found in breach of any Playing Rules or Regulations of the IDPA.
8:02    The exclusion of any playing member shall only be put into effect as a result of Disciplinary proceedings being taken In accordance with IDPA rules.
8:03    The IDPA reserve the right to “debt suspend” any player member from all IDPA darts events until such time as all outstanding debts have been cleared.

9.00    DRESS CODE

9:01    Whilst attending Tournaments and playing Academy players are not permitted to wear jeans, trousers or skirts made with denim, or corduroy material, which has been fashioned in a “jeans style”. This restriction shall also apply to any form of track suit attire including “sports” footwear and headgear.

9:02    Dress Code 9:01 will also apply to all members at all official IDPA and BDO events i.e hospitality rooms, and official functions relating to Darts Tournaments.

10.00 ANTI-DOPING POLICY

10.01 These terms and conditions are laid down in the BDO Code of Practice No:6. The Anti-Doping policy shall apply to all players and officials participating in the Sport of Darts.

11.00 ADVERTISING

11:01 The IDPA reserve the rights to the use of all advertising material, slogans,or logos in connection with the promotion and playing of any IDPA darts events.

11:02 The IDPA reserve the right to protect their sponsors interests with regard to logos used by players.

12.00  AMMENDMENTS & ADDITIONS

12:01 The IDPA reserve the right to add to, or amend, any IDPA Rules and Conditions  to meet any purpose deemed to be necessary at that time by the IDPA Board of Directors.
